I have attended Buddhist Meditation classes over the last few years. My interest in Buddhism continues to grow as I like it’s methodical approach to ending the suffering of samsara . On most days I meditate for a while and I find videos by Dekyong particularly helpful.
Towards the end of 2015 Yendrik my teacher from the Buddhist Meditation Classes in Grimsby popped round to see us. We chatted for a while in the comfort of the dining room while Maureen slept in the lounge.
Jendrik suggested reading Universal Compassion by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. He advised me to ‘study one page a day’. Six months later (June 2016) I’m finally taking his advice and seeing dementia as an opportunity to give unconditional love.
Geshla as we call him is a very inspiring teacher. He has the ability to simplify his teachings making them accessible for all. I would recommend anyone to consider looking at this text.
